His Eminence Francis Cardinal George has announced pastors for two parishes in the archdiocese.
Pastors
Rev. Waldemar Kilian, from sabbatical to be pastor of St. Bruno Parish, South Harding, effective immediately.
Pastor Emeriti
Rev. John C. Cain, from pastor of St. Rosalie Parish, Harwood Heights, to retire after 44 years of service to the Archdiocese of Chicago and be pastor emeritus of the same, with residence at St. Josaphat Parish, North Southport, effective immediately.
Rev. Raymond Cowell, missionary pastor in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, to retire after 46 years of priesthood and service with the St. James Society in South America, with residence in Bolivia, effective immediately.
Associate Pastors
Rev. Albert Gavamukulya, from the Diocese of Lugazi, Uganda, East Africa, to be a part-time associate pastor of St. Philip Neri Parish, East 72nd Street, effective immediately.
Rev. Emmanuel Nwabude, from resident extern at St. Joseph Parish, Homewood, to be part-time associate pastor of the same.
Rev. Augustine Ogumere, CSSp from resident at St. Helena of the Cross Parish, South Parnell, to be associate pastor of St. Felicitas Parish, East 84th Street, effective immediately.
