Bishop-designate Liam S. Cary of Baker, Ore., Bishop Blase J. Cupich of Spokane, Wash., and retired Bishop Carlos A. Sevilla of Yakima, Wash., concelebrate Mass with bishops from Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Alaska at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls in Rome April 23. The bishops were making their "ad limina" visits to the Vatican to report on the status of their dioceses to the pope and Vatican officials.
