More than 7,000 Catholics from the Chicago area and Indiana processed from St. Michael Church, 8235 South Shore Drive, to the Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine in Merrillville, Indiana, on Aug. 7-8 for the annual pilgrimage to Mary. With backpacks, comfortable shoes and ready spirits walkers covered 32 miles in two days.
