Archbishop John Vlazny of Portland, Ore., a former Chicago priest, holds up a trophy with his name on it awarded to " St. Al's Hall of Fame Pitcher, Aug. 16, 1981 " . The archbishop was was back in town to celebrate the 125th anniversary kick-off of St. Aloysius Parish on June 21, where he was once pastor.
