Archbishop Cupich gives the homily during Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 4432 N. Troy St, on Dec. 23, in celebration of the last night of Simbang Gabi, a novena of Masses in preparation for Christmas celebrated by Filipino Catholics. Seventy-two parishes in the archdiocese celebrated Simbang Gabi this year.
