Parishioners at Our Lady of Pompeii Shrine in Chicago carry a statue of St. Joseph from the church to a gathering hall for the celebration of St. Joseph’s Bountiful Table. The annual Italian feast commemorates the end of drought and famine following the prayers of hungry Sicilians to St. Joseph the Protector.
