Young women make final 'yes' to God

Sister Kate O'Leary and Sister Alicia Torres became the first fully professed members of the Franciscans of the Eucharist of Chicago on Oct. 4 at Our Lady of the Angels Church on Chicago's West Side.

Torres takes a lunch-time run outside of the Cardinal Meyer Center on the South Side on Sept. 8, 2009. She was running the Chicago Half Marathon on Sept. 13 to raise funds so she could pay off her student loans and become a nun.
