Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe - 2013

Photos taken at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines during events to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Tens of thousands braved the frigid temperatures to make the pilgrimage. Included are photos from the Antorcha Guadalupana (Guadalupe Torch Run), a visit by the Club Los Vaqueros Unidos (United Cowboy Club) and the closing Mass at the shrine on Dec. 12.

Dancers perform on the side of the shrine as a tribute to Our Lady of Guadalupe on Dec. 11. Festivities began at the shrine at 5 p.m. on Dec. 11 and carried through until the closing Mass on the evening of Dec. 12.
