Photos taken at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines during events to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Tens of thousands braved the frigid temperatures to make the pilgrimage. Included are photos from the Antorcha Guadalupana (Guadalupe Torch Run), a visit by the Club Los Vaqueros Unidos (United Cowboy Club) and the closing Mass at the shrine on Dec. 12.

A line of cars more than a mile long stops traffic down River Road as pilgrims make their way to the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines on Dec. 11. More than 100,000 people braved frigid temperatures to participate in events marking the Feast at the Our Lady of Guadalupe.
