Witnessing on downtown streets

The Chicago March for Life took place on Jan. 19. Participants gathered for a rally at Federal Plaza in downtown Chicago before marching to the State of Illinois Building for another rally. Speakers included Greek Orthodox Bishop Demetrios of Mokissos, Rev. Cesar LeFlore, founder of Chicago's African- American PowerLight Ministries and Congressmen Dan Lipinski and Peter Roskam. Also included are photos from the national event.

Bitter cold and snow did not stop tens of thousands of people from marching against abortion on the 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion across the nation.
