Palm Sunday and International World Youth Day at Federal Plaza

Young adults gathered for prayer at Federal Plaza in downtown Chicago on April 13 in celebration of Palm Sunday and International World Youth Day. Pope Francis chose the beatitude, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven," (Mt 5:3) as this year's theme. The group prayed the Divine Mercy chaplet, incorporating English, Polish, Spanish and Tagalog, as a reflection on International World Youth Day. The archdiocesan Young Adult Ministry Office sponsored the event.
