A Mass of Christian Burial for Father Andrew Greeley was held on June 5 at Christ the King Church. Father Greeley, best-selling novelist and sociologist died May 29 at his home at the John Hancock Center at the age 85. Greeley authored 120 books, and was once called the most influential American Catholic sociologist of the 20th century. Led by Cardinal George, more than 40 priests and hundreds of friends and family gathered for the liturgy.
