A steady flow of people came into Holy Name Cathedral on Aug. 8 for "Nightfever." Nightfever, which has become a regular event at the cathedral, is an evening of adoration, music, reconciliation and outreach. While adoration takes place a team of young adults invites people on the street to light a candle in the church while others welcome them at the door. A music team plays, while others pray and help create an atmosphere of peace and serenity. People come and go as they wish. They have the opportunity to talk to a priest, get a blessing or receive the sacrament of reconciliation.
