Bishop Timothy Lyne receives a thank-you gift from Cardinal Joseph Bernardin at a May 4, 1994 dinner. The gift came the year Bishop Lyne turned 75 and was required to submit his resignation to Pope John Paul II. Bishop Lyne retired the following year.
