Most Rev. Raphael Cheenath, archbishop of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar, India, visits with Lawrence Mascarenhas following a presentation he gave on Feb. 7 at St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Cathedral, 5000 St. Charles Rd., Bellwood. He spoke to Chicagoans about the current situation in Orissa, where violence erupted against Christians last year. He also introduced Asha Kiran, which means “ray of hope,” a program to bring stability to Orissa.
