Traditionally the celebration of " posada " -- which means “lodging” in Spanish -- commemorates Mary and Joseph's search for a place to stay in Bethlehem. This year’s theme was “Immigrant youth, hope for the people of God,” “Juventud Inmigrante, esperanza del pueblo de Dios.”
