Sinsinawa Dominican Sister Mary Rimblas, 73, died July 27. Born in London, she made her first profession of vows in 1964, and her final profession in 1969. She taught Spanish and English for 35 years in Illinois, Washington D.C. and Wisconsin.
In the Archdiocese of Chicago, she served at Queen of Peace High School, 1964-65, 1988-89; Trinity High School, 1966-68; and Rosary College, 1973-77, 1979-97.
Sr. Francelle Farley
TEACHER
Sister of Charity BVM Francelle Farley, 103, died July 16. Born in DeKalb, Ill, she professed her first vows in 1927 and final vows in 1933. She was a teacher in Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota. In the Archdiocese of Chicago, she taught at St. Agatha, 1927-28, and Holy Name Cathedral High School, 1933-46 and 1950-54. At the time she died, Sister Francelle was the oldest living member of the Sisters of Charity BVM.
Sr. Charlotte Mack

Benedictine Sister Charlotte Mack, 74, died on July 28. She was born in Cicero, raised at St. Josephs Orphanage in Lisle after her parents death and entered the Benedictines in 1954 after a brief career in the business world. She worked as an educator in Illinois, Wisconsin and Texas. In the Archdiocese of Chicago, she served at St. Mary of Celle, and as principal of St. Vitus and Our Lady of Lourdes. Upon retirement, Sister Charlotte served the monastery as retirement director and house coordinator.
Sr. Mary Teresa Miotke

Felician Sister Mary Teresa Miotke, 92, died July 30. Born in Chicago, she was a member of the Felician Sisters for 73 years. In the Archdiocese of Chicago, she taught at St. Mary Magdalen, 1936-39 and 1953-55; St. Wenceslaus, 1939-42 and 1948-50; SS. Cyril and Methodius, 1942-43; St. John of God, 1943-1948; Holy Rosary, 1950-53; Good Counsel High School, 1955-1960 and 1963-70; St. Joseph High School, 1960-63; and Felician College (Montay College), 1970-1989.
Fr. William OConnor, OMI
PASTOR and story priest
Oblate Father William OConnor, 86, died June 9. Born in Chicago, he attended St. Gertrude and St. Aloysius schools. From 1932-34, he attended Quigley Seminary in Chicago, and graduated from St. Anthony Junior Seminary, San Antonio, Texas, in 1937.
Father OConnor spent his entire ministry in Texas, serving in poor Hispanic communities. Fondly remembered as the story priest he told many tales which brought Scripture teachings to life.
He is survived by a brother, a sister, and many nieces and nephews.
Sr. Louise Ann Glowacki

Franciscan Sister of Chicago Louise Ann Glowacki, 89, died July 31. A Chicago native, she entered the novitiate in 1930. After a teaching ministry, she served as a homemaker and dietician in several states. In the archdiocese, she served in convents at St. Stanislaus, Bishop and Martyr, St. Pancratius, St. Louise de Marillac and Our Lady of Victory and Mother Theresa Home.
In her retirement years, Sister Louise Ann shared hospitality as a receptionist at the Franciscan motherhouse. Gifted with artistic abilities, she created rosaries and restored sacred images.
