Abuse review boards work to continue despite concerns
Two Chicago members of the U.S. bishops National Review Board said its work to end clerical sexual abuse will continue without missing a beat, despite the resignation of chairman Frank Keating following comments he made comparing some church officials to the mafia.>
SNAPs abuse report card is challenged
Archdiocesan officials responded angrily to a report card issued by a sexual abuse survivors group about the way the archdiocese has handled the clerical sexual abuse crisis. The dispute points out ongoing areas of disagreement between the archdiocese and victim advocacy groups about how such cases should be handled.>
