A first-class relic of Blessed Oscar Romero was installed on May 28 in a new shrine at Immaculate Conception Parish.
Father Ron Hicks, Vicar General for the Archdiocese of Chicago, joins Father Manuel Dorantes, pastor, and Father Carlos Arancibia in blessing the new shrine containing a first class relic of Blessed Oscar Romero during a Mass at Immaculate Conception Parish, 2745 W 44th St, on May 28. The shrine is the first displaying a first class relic of Blessed Oscar Romero in the U.S.
