Melissa Marquez, dressed as Mary, and Vicente Villanueva, dressed as Joseph, process down Superior Street during the 22nd annual archdiocesan Posada at Holy Name Cathedral on Dec. 14. Both children are parishioners at Mision de San Juan Diego. Traditionally the celebration of " posada " -- which means “lodging” in Spanish -- commemorates Mary and Joseph's search for a place to stay in Bethlehem. This year’s theme was “Immigrant youth, hope for the people of God,” “Juventud Inmigrante, esperanza del pueblo de Dios.”
