The Archdiocese of Chicago's annual Prevent Child Abuse Prayer Service and Pinwheel Planting was held April 7, at the Healing Garden of the Archdiocese of Chicago located at Holy Family Parish, 1080 W. Roosevelt Road. April is national Child Abuse Prevention Month. The concept of the garden came from clergy abuse victims, priests and Office for the Protection of Children and Youth staff members, and was approved by Cardinal George. A focal point of the Healing Garden is the sculpture, Circle of Love, depicting the Holy Family, a gift of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
