Members of lay ecclesial movements gathered at St. John Vianney Parish in Northlake for a talk on the papal visit presented by Cardinal George on Sept. 2, 2008. Lay ecclesial movements exist worldwide to help members become more actively involved in the practice of their faith. Members are largely or exclusively laity who live the call to discipleship through specific practices and ways of prayer that are particular to each movement or community.
