Corrine Grant from St. Sabina Parish, Daughter of the Heart of Mary Sister Anita Baird, director of the archdiocese’s Office for Racial Justice, Barbara Pribyl-Szymanski from Mary Seat of Wisdom Parish, Park Ridge, Sandy McBreen from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Glenview, Franciscan Sister Lois Prebil from the Office of Racial Justice, and Flo and Frank Christiano from St. Francis Xavier Parish, LaGrange, pray during a service at St. Eulalia Parish in Maywood as a part of a “Catholics Praying for Racial Justice” pilgrimage on Sept. 20. Pilgrimages took place in parishes in three vicariates in the archdiocese this month. Participants met at one of several participating churches and traveled by bus to the churches in each vicariate. Two more pilgrimages will take place in October.
