Following their baptisms, candidates for confirmation line up in the sanctuary of Holy Name Cathedral during the Easter Vigil Mass April 4. They donned white garments, which symbolized their baptism in Christ, following that sacrament. Hundreds of adults were baptized and received into full communion with the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Chicago during the Easter Vigil.
