Catholic faithful in the Archdiocese of Chicago commemorate the coming of Jesus' birth in various ways each year but with the same purpose: to honor the child Savior who came to redeem us all.
Joseph Guzman prays the rosary at Holy Name Cathedral during the annual archdiocesan posada Dec. 19. More than 1,000 people from the archdiocese gathered to commemorate Mary and Joseph's search for lodging at the time of the birth of Jesus.
