Police officers serving as pall bearers carry the casket past hundreds of officers lined up outside of St. Monica Church on July 7 for the funeral of a 60-year-old Chicago police officer Richard Francis killed in the line of duty on July 2. The funeral procession included cadets in uniform, officers on horseback and bagpipers, and was attended by Governor Rod R. Blagojevich and Mayor Richard M. Daley.
