On Aug. 10, Most Revs. Alberto Rojas and Andrew Wypych were ordained auxiliary bishops for the Archdiocese of Chicago by Cardinal George at Holy Name Cathedral.
Cardinal George presided over the ordination of Most Revs. Andrew Wypych and Alberto Rojas as bishops for the Archdiocese of Chicago at Holy Name Cathedral on Aug. 10. He was assisted by co-consecrators Bishop Józef Guzdek of the Military Ordinariate of Poland and Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller, M.Sp.S. of San Antonio, who is a former auxiliary bishop of Chicago.
