More than 7,000 Catholics gathered to learn, worship and celebrate their faith Oct. 16-17 at Catholic Festival of Faith at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont. The Festival of Faith, the third event of its kind in the Archdiocese of Chicago, included workshops and presentations for young people, families, Catholic school teachers and catechists and young adults, as well as sessions in Spanish and Polish.
Bishop George V. Murry delivers his keynote address Oct. 16, the opening day of the Catholic Festival of Faith at the Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N. River Road, Rosemont. The speech was part of the two-day event that included breakout sessions in three languages, an intergenerational family track, young adult and youth tracks, a dinner and social for young adults and an evening of celebration for married couples. Six keynote addresses were delivered during the festival, including the opening address on the Festival's theme, " The Love of Christ Impels Us. "
